Sundridge Park GC West 1-9 | Kent

EDI were commissioned by one of Kent's best golf clubs, SPGC to look into the redesign and strategy of their 36-hole bunkering for the next 5-years until 2021.   

The project has been divided up into 9 hole phases totalling 5-phases with the West Course tackled first followed by the East Course in 2018/20.  Any further work to other features will be in a separate phase in 2020/21.  The Club requested each hole to be fully designed using the EDI process of Sketch | Plan | Visualise.  The new Phase I holes are now fully open and well received by the members.

The West course opens with a yawning par 4, some 434yards with a magnificent panorama leading down to the Chinbrook.  The West has its own unique character, a truly testing but beautiful par 69. The contours are incorporated into the design to create many challenging approach shots. Mainly tree lined with awesome views of many of London's famous landmarks the West course leaves an impression and a yearning to return.
