Tandridge GC | Surrey

EDI were commissioned by one of Surrey's best golf clubs, TGC to look into a brand new range and academy area adjacent to the par 4 14th and par 3 15th holes.

The project which has been in the planning for a year will be an extremely important addition to the golf club and the membership.  At present the existing range, close to the clubhouse does not have the required length and therefore new locations were earmarked.  A new site, set in the valley will be an ideal location to develop one of the leading academies in the South East of England and very much the brief for this project.

Celebrated golf architect Harry Colt created the delightful course at Tandridge in 1924. There are spectacular views of the Surrey North Downs and the High Weald, with the front nine running along relatively gentle land and the back nine sited in more rolling and dramatic terrain. Strategically placed bunkers call for accuracy from the tee, plateau greens make for demanding approach shots and subtle borrows on the fine surfaces test your putting.

England Golf has staged the English Women's Open Amateur Strokeplay on the course and the feedback from visitors is consistently excellent. With the condition of the course matching the quality of the redesign, we are delighted to be ranked in Golf Monthly's Top 100 Courses for the UK & Ireland for 2017 and 2018.
